The Desert Nomads Golf Club is proud to announce the details of Slyder Cup 24, the club's main annual event. The Slyder Cup Invitational, a team event in the Ryder Cup format, will be going back to beautiful St. George Utah with long time friends and first time Captains Bill Ritchie and Vijay Jain.

Itinerary (subject to change):

  • July 16 - 1/2 of $1200 tournament fee due (includes lodging but not travel to/from St. George)
  • August 10 - Freezing of Handicaps
  • August 11 - Full tournament fee due

Accomodations ALREADY reserved: Two team house ARE included in the event fee. Team Captains will choose or play for their choice in house. Cost is always a concern in this event and the committee does its best to keep costs down but the days of $500 are over. This year, St. George is 20% ($200) higher than in 2022 (thanks Joe Biden). St. George is a step up in the quality of tracks compared to Prescott and all of you know the real value of this event.

The event cost is $1200 and includes:

  • Lodging in a team house 5 nights.
  • Dinner and cocktails at the Kickoff Dinner
  • All four rounds of golf including green fees, cart fees, taxes and range balls
  • Supershot entry
  • Lunch at Copper Rock
  • Annual dues for Nomad membership
  • Mid-Tournament Pairings Party
  • Dinner and cocktails at the Champions' Dinner
  • Team apparel and incidentals
  • Competition, camaraderie and lifetime memories

This event is by invitation only with responsible participants having first right on next year's event. However, if you have not yet been invited but are interested in participating, please contact the Desert Nomads Tournament Committee at tc@desertnomads.org. We are always looking for new players and alternates in case of cancellations.
