The Desert Nomads Golf Club is proud to announce the details of the Slyder Cup, the club's main annual event. The Slyder Cup Invitational, a team event in the Ryder Cup format, will be celebrating 20 years by heading to Wisconsin with Captains Brad Hendrix and Paul Grimaldi.

Itinerary (subject to change):

    Pre-tournament
  • Februray 29th - $300 deposit due
  • August 15th - Freezing of Handicaps
  • August 16th Sun 6PM PT Online Draft
  • 1PM Wed September 23rd - Practice Round Lakes (Optional)

    Tournament
  • 8AM Thur September 24th Scramble - Pines
  • 10AM Fri September 25th Fourball - Lakes
  • 9AM Sat September 26th Fourball - Pines
  • 9AM Sun September 27th Singles - Lakes
  • Mon September 28th - Travel Day

Accomodations reserved at Team House #1. Check in Tuesday 9/22.

The event estimated cost is $1200 that loosely includes:

  • A 20-year celebration
  • Airfare
  • Transportation to/from airport
  • 5 rounds of Golf-Range Balls
  • 3 Dinners
  • 6 Nights w/ Team Lakehouses
  • Pontoon Boat Rides
  • Evening Fires
  • Bags & Billiards

This event is by invitation only with responsible participants having first right on next year's event. However, if you have not yet been invited but are interested in participating, please contact the Desert Nomads Tournament Committee at tc@desertnomads.org. We are always looking for new players and alternates in case of cancellations.
